What is GetWInfo?

GetWInfo is a utility that lets you choose any window or child window, get it's information and send it window messages.

It's made mainly for Windows programmers and advanced Windows users, though it can be useful for particular uses such as finding a window that has been moved off the visible desktop etc.

How does it look?

Installation Notes

To install GetWInfo, Double-Click the setup file. This will start a Setup Wizard that will guide you through the simple installation process.

To uninstall GetWInfo, select Uninstall from the GetWInfo Start Menu group, if you selected this option during installation, or run Uninstall from the installation folder.

What's New?

in version 1.34:

Fixed bug where sometimes the selection tool wouldn't select windows to the top or left of the GetWinfo window.
Added contact info to about dialog.
Upgraded installer.
